The system I'm building is a 180 w/ a sump. The sump will most likly take me over 200g total.
Will this chiller work efficently for over 200g or will it strugiling all the time?

What are kind of lighting system are you going to be running? If its halides, it would problaby not be able to keep up.
Playwithbob- 08-18-2008
Halides, Ah well.
Chris Bovia- 08-20-2008
Yeah... Halides might be a bit too much heat depending on if and how you are venting/keeping bulbs/ballasts cool on your 200g system Bob
Further lighting or not on a 200g is pushing 1/5hp chiller. I would recommend no more than 100-125g for a 1/5HP.
For 200g I would suggest 1/3HP. Though depending on the speed of your build you might not need one until next season.
