I think he means due to water flow and/or fish in the tank stiring the sand up. Not at intial set up.

Rob is right, I got a sand that is too fine of a grain, it is a pain to deal with. I have to put the power heads halfway up the side and point them at a 45 upward.

Brian I've seen your replacement tank and stand at Rob's. I know you're still in the thick of the semester but if you need I could bring at least one or maybe both in my Toyota prerunner bed back up here. How are things going? Do you have a plan yet?

I need to first bring the old stand and tank back to Rob. I don't know what I am doing at this point-I have been really busy. I had a previous commitment/con-*test*-('") to decorate the outside of the house for Christmas. I used all of Thanksgiving break and I am still not done. ok I don't see why if I was going down there to pick up the new ones I couldn't help by getting the old ones down there first. But I think the distance between my wheel wells in the bed might not allow both the tank and the stand back there. Good luck with the light display. There's one around the corner from me that has his lights on a PLC controller and the are timed to music that cen be heard by tuning 92.1. Very cool if you've seen those Christmas houses on youtube, you know what I mean. As far as the new tank goes... I don't see Rob having a real space issue for now but I'm sure he'd like for you to have it sooner rather than later of course. and of course, on your schedule too. Hope all goes well with the lights and your year end.
