December 2008 Meeting!!! :D December 12, 2008 Mnt Mike's Pizza on Mangrove 7pm. I'm thinking we'll buy a few pizza's for everyone who comes :bannana: so feel free to put in your request for what you want but we'll probably just go with a few of the standards: pep; hawaiian, combo, veggie, cheese. I'll put an option out for a white elephant gift exchange for some novel reef related item. Further we'll be discussing how in more detail and what needs to be done still to make the January meeting a big kickoff to start the year. Also we may have two new books to check out from our library! A full agenda will be posted around a week before the meeting date so feel free to suggest items, let us know what pizza you prefer, and if you are interested in the white elephant gift exchange. Thanks!

If you're planning on going, it might be helpful to say-so, that way we can get a general idea of a head count. I'm in!

Unless, something happens :eek: I'll be there. Plus, its in the bylaws, paraphrasing here: that after two missed meetings per calendar year, the board, at its descretion, can vote the absent officer out of office. Also for the benefit of the club, I try to attend every meeting. The only one's I've missed since I was president was when I've been out of town.

We'll be there so +3. I really don't know what a "white elephant gift exchange" is.

White Elephant... Not sure either as I think it has territorial defenitions. either a stright gift exchange: you put one on the table and take another one home. Or it's something you get to swap with other people -don't know the exact rules for that one. I saw a very disturbing description of the game on "The Office" from last season. Ha ha.

White Elephant is pretty hilarious, but it can be kinda awkward with a small group and/or people who don't know each other very well.

And my girlfriend says she wants to be at this meeting! I appreciate her support, despite a complete lack of interest in marine aquatics. She'll eat any kind of pizza.

So I don't know if any one wants to show off their tank on December 12, but I'll extend the offer here? Who knows? I might have my stand and nearly everything ready to go for the 50-> 125g swap. I seriously doubt it will be done by then but I am making great progress. So as long as the rest of the family ok's it, we could come by my house (again). :roll: . I might have some corals I no longer want or simply have too much of for sale too. Ha Ha.

Great camlov2! It will be good to see you again and maybe you could describe more specifically how or where the failure in your tank was at. Also, we may end up heading up to P-dise this weekend and if so, we'll be sure to try to find your light-decorated house. Anyone else coming? How about any frags for the raffle? Come on... Free Pizza!!!
