Interesting auto feeder
Pretty interesting and seems a lot more failsafe than the other timers... and it turns lights on and off too.... I don't think I would ever do it but it's interesting none-the-less http://bahatanju.pbwiki.com/My-Hacks

Very cool! necessity is the mother of invention! 8) Very clever. I however, wouldn't suggest having your 120V plug that close to the water soure as that's where this bugger would need to be placed to get the food to the tank.

i wouldnt trust that if my fishies lives depened on it soooo jankey... plz don't tell me you made one..

iairj84- 07-21-2008

well it actually seems a lot better than a lot of the commercial feeders out there... The commercial ones can malfunction quite easily due to the battery operated design. Like I mentioned I wouldn't build one but it's kinda interesting anyways.

You can tell us Matt, we know you are in production right now and trying to sell them on ebay.

alright... you got me... I need to start taking more pills though... I'm running low on bottles.

Pcrain- 07-21-2008

i think if you had enough pill bottles and magic puddy you could make anything a Nano skimmer, pocket refugium, breeder, a profeeder( those things that despense food over long period of time), and you could even make a decor that looks like this people will never know those arent sponges

Those look like paint rollers!!!! There's my next big thing!

Rysam- 07-22-2008

thats really not a bad idea. it wouldnt take much to secure that in a hood or something. the sponges on the other hand... go ahead and try to steal my ebay gold. :fence3d: :bduh:
