Mandarins that eat pellets
MY Green Mandarin ate some pellets today WTF i was told they would never eat anything but pods my green Mandarin wouldn't even eat frozen pods but today he was chasing down pellets i am bAffled is he just really hungry or what. any one else have a Mandarin that will eat pellets i am intrested in why this diet change suddenly happened. was he like fuck it i was chicken today

That's cool! Maybe they just got hungry? I will add a pair of them when I get my new tank setup and build up my pod population for a bit :D

By green do you mean the spotted AKA physcadelic goby? Or the typical Tattooed looking ones? The green spotted ones adapt to prepared foods fairy often but usually brine,mysis,flake not pellets. He is a keeper for sure!!

My gobe looks like this guy yea its sweet he ate more pellets today hes loving them prob more then his pods :bannana: i think you where telling me that your Madarin ate pellets to, once when the wife and i went into your store and we always wanted to buy one that would but we could never find one i guess we got lucky. hes eating the fomula one sinking pellets still cant get him to eat mysis or frozen pods =P

congrats... It is always good when wild caught fish can learn to survive in our captive environments. Hmm. that does not sound as good as the compliment I wanted to share. :roll: Nonetheless, that's really great!!!! :bannana: :D

Cool video! Quality was fine for this purpose. RC has some good tips on photographing your aquarium but it has been a while and thus probably buried now. A simple plexiglas five sided box will help you take top down pictures. I know!!!! You should get an underwater camera and if your photos are sweet from your Kawaii trip, you might be requested to do a brief slide show of your underwater shots at the Ocotober meeting :D
