Mild August Meeting tonight
Sorry for the late notice. I'm going to leave this August meeting up to those who wish to come. Due to the summer business of everyone's extra outdoor activities, visiting relatives, etc... the lack of raffle support items, lack of speaking topics, I'm going to again excuse officers and members should they not wish to attend. So I will be there but there will be no raffle and depending on who shows up we'll have a discussion of the club's forward goals, agenda for obtaining raffle items, next meeting items, and a roundtable discussion on selected topics. I apologize if this causes anyone any inconvience. Hope to see those of you who wish to come at Mountain Mike's Pizza! :D

I won't be able to attend the meeting this month due to prior commitments that have me in the bay area. Good luck with the meeting Chris, I hope that their are people that show up to this meeting as I feel the roundtable type discussions are beneficial in learning from others! :D

I didnt make it. I'm 80% done with the remodel and thats were 99% of my energy is focused right now. How was the meeting?

It was pretty mild. Several people showed up. Nothing too big going on. Me chasing my daughter around as usual. But a fun time eating pizza, drinking beer/soda, and discussing what everyone had going on and what they had new or improved within the hobby. Then went over to Kenny's tanks and it was nice to see the changes in his main display since all the frag swaps and other issues he has experienced. Also it was cool to see his mantis shrimp. Funny thing... I keep telling my daughter not to touch. I thing the mantis's snap attack at the glass right where she was touching was enough to help enforce that message. It is funny but I think it did somewhat scare her. I'm working on getting a speaker possibly for the next meeting and maybe some additional raffle items. Thanks for your interest Bob! Also, is your tank at the shop or your home? I almost stopped by today coming down the hill from a sampling job but when I thought about it, I had already passed you up.
