Return Pump
I'm looking for pump options for our new build. Does anyone have a used return pump for sale? I think I'm looking for a 2000+ gal/hr external unit for building a closed loop water movement system. I'll most likely reuse my mag 9.5 for the sump return unless I can find a used/cheap mag 18. In which case I'll probably use the mag 9.5 for the skimmer. Bob

I understand trying to cut corners and save money on a tank build but as far as something as critical as water circulation... I'd go with a reeflo type external pump which will cost you around $250. I think it might be a good idea also to keep an extra pump for when at 6pm on Friday of a three day weekend or worse on 6pm Wed of thanksgiving weekend... and your only pump goes belly up. Good luck.
