I figured you guys deserved your own thread since you have your own forum. If any of you guys would like to sell frags, be sure to contact me regarding the Reef Hobbyist area! You will not leave disappointed! The Southern Califoria Marine Aquarium Society is proud to bring you REEF-A-PALOOZA 2008 October 11th - 12th, 2008. This is an event that every hobbyist should attend! This year SCMAS has brought together the best coral farmers & live goods exhibitors, the most popular writers & speakers, and best manufacturers of aquarium products. We invite you all to take part in this event that attracted over 2000 attendees last year. Come see what the RAP is all about! Reef-A-Palooza 2008 Speakers: Anthony Calfo (author of Book of Coral Propagation, Reef Invertebrates, & C The Journal of Aquatic Science, Travel and Adventure) Bob Fenner (founder of WetWebMedia.com who is also an excellent photographer and videographer) Charles Delbeek (formally of Waikiki Aquarium and now running Steinhart Aquarium) Jake Adams (founder of CoralIdea.com) And of course, CORALS, CORALS and more CORALS! Same here, If I ever see one over the summer (when I am not teaching) or closer I think I will be hooked. I don't even like to transport fish/corals from Sacramento, I want to check them every time we make a turn or go over a bump. I think a trip from LA would kill me.
